Hello, poets and poetry lovers! Happy Tuesday! We read through a lot of great poetry submissions over the weekend. Head on over to WE ALL BLEED THE SAME to read our latest poetry feature “a sonnet… for snow” by Amanda Thomas. Also, join us in wishing her a happy birthday! Hopefully, featuring her poem will be a heartfelt present, as her words tugged on our heartstrings. Happy Birthday, Amanda! http://spiltinkpoetry.tumblr.com/post/79261117615/a-sonnet-for-snow-by-amanda-thomas

Here’s a little about Amanda Thomas:

“I love the seasons we celebrate here in Wisconsin; I believe winter’s words affect me most so. Born and raised on a farm in southern Wisconsin, I grew with a fondness and great appreciation for the love of nature in all her seasons and find this to be a favorite recurring theme in my writing.”
